As a Fellow from the first batch of Rural Youth Fellowship (RYF), I can confidently say that the program truly changed my life. After completing 12th in Commerce stream, I was unsure of what my next step should be. But, thanks to RYF, I was able to continue my education with B.Com and gain valuable life and job skills along the way.
What sets RYF apart is its unique approach in utilizing valuable youth hours and providing all necessary resources for government and private sector job preparation under one roof. This was incredibly helpful as I was able to prepare well enough to pass the SSC CGL Mains exam in 2022.
RYF has always believed to utilize their students as a resource, I have had the opportunity to work as an Operation Leader with RYF, thereby ensuring my professional growth. RYF not only helped me with my academics and professional goals, but also helped me to improve my life skills.
In my opinion, RYF is the only organization in India that focuses on developing life skills in 12th-passed students, in addition to their academic focus, within the 3 years of graduation. It truly is an organization that empowers, uplifts and transforms the lives of young people. I am forever grateful for the opportunity to be a part of such a life-changing program.
